New: The Specialty Care Access Evaluation Brief is now available. This brief discusses the results of the Speciality Care Access Project that was organized by COPE Health Solutions, Los Angeles, CA, in cooperation with community health centers and the LAC-USC Medical Center. It was supported by a grant from the California HealthCare Foundation.
We are currently conducting site visits and data collection for the One-E-App Evaluation, and we have begun work on the L.A. Care/CHIGLA Clearing House Project. More information regarding both of these projects will be available soon.

The California HealthCare Foundation Children’s Almanac Update:
The report, Children's Health Coverage Facts and Figures, was released on November 10, 2009. The Center played an essential role in assembling the data presented in the report. You can access the full report on the California HealthCare Foundation's website.
SHARE Update:
The objective of the study is to understand the effectiveness of various outreach and enrollment strategies. We have completed the site visits with 25 counties that have an active CHI and/or a Healthy Kids program. We have successfully completed the first report of the study. The brief documents the outreach and enrollment strategies targeting children adopted by various counties in the state. We identify 10 types of outreach and enrollment strategies and chart how the strategies differed over time. The report "Use of Outreach and Enrollment Strategies in California" is available at the State Health Access Data Assistance Center website.
We are currently looking at county-level enrollment data for Medi-Cal, Healthy Families, and Healthy Kids from 2001-2008. A report on the enrollment trends will be published in the near future.
Health Reform Update:
We joined efforts with Dean Pulifiato and Keck School of Medicine to create a website that would provide an educational forum for the USC community to interactively discuss health reform.
